Imagine your surfboard is like a magic carpet riding the waves, and fins help you steer it. Glass-on fins are permanently attached to your surfboard by the manufacturer. They're made of fiberglass, which is super strong and sturdy, just like the material used in some of your other sports gear in Hawai'i or anywhere.
These fins are made to attach right into the bottom of your surfboard during its creation. They're not detachable like some other fins, so they're always there whenever you want to catch a wave. Because they're part of the board itself, they can feel really stable and give you a smooth ride on the water.
